Turkey makeovers!
Elsie had her two BFF's over for a play date and the 1st thing on her agenda was makeovers! She never calls it makeup, always a makeover as if it's completely transforming to apply pale pink sparkly eye shadow to random spots on her face.

Dinosaur DNA
Levi says dinosaurs are stinky so he needs to get stinky so he can be a dinosaur. After watching some kids show about DNA, he has been asking all day to get him some dinosaur DNA so he can turn into one. Apparently, getting stinky is a good way to start the transition!

I swear I can't make this stuff up!
There was a time when I thought I was something of a writer. Haha. Today, in my life, I can't even dream of things more original than the words that come out of my kids' mouths every day. I have finally had enough of scribbling quotes on papers or texting them Dan. So here is the blog. If you know me, you already know I affectionately call my kids "turkeys". This came from reading Sandra Boynton's book "Blue Hat, Green Hat" to our first-born (and subsequently each child that followed). You know, the turkey who puts his clothes on all wrong...and the book says "oops". Well we just started adding "silly turkey" after every "oops". Eventually it took the place of the more widely known phrase "silly goose". So here we are. I am raising three "turkeys". And my life is just as silly as anything you might find in a Sandra Boynton book. I love it!
